My Project
In my Focus class at Starling Elementary, we are doing a project called C.O.W.S. The C.O.W.S project stands for Changing our World at Starling. We are supposed to design a project that allows us to make a difference in the world as children.
I am making a website to help Heifer International.
Heifer teachs people in proverty how to use their donated animals to help themselves. For example, they may use their animal for milk to drink and sell. Second, they might breed them and use them for meat and to sell. The idea is to teach people how to take care of themselves and be independent.
The company, Clean Cut Fabricators, is helping me by donating 25 cents per visitor on my website between now and March 30, 2010. My goal is to earn $120.00 to buy two Flocks of Hope for people in need. Clean Cut Fabricators has agreed to sponsor this amount.
